Mafia Wars Ice Seasons 411 Issued
Well here we go folks a new icing event called Ice Season. This one seems alot fairer but the rewars do suck for all the effort you need to put into it. It does not involve Red Tags or the family module.
You will get badges based on you number of ices you get and some pretty crappy rewards. At the end on the event each week you will be award your loot item, The Arctic Fox, based on how well you did during the week long event. This event will be event on every Tuesday as a new week will start and there is no set end date on it.
They have added something help prevent people from just going to ice their mini’s to master the event called a Bully Throttle and according to Cerulean Master the Super Moderator on the forum and I will quote him, “Each season, only 5 Ices will count towards any one target. You can still Ice, but when you see that message, the Ices will not increase your mastery.” So keep that in mind.
It is a fun event, crappy rewards but decent grand prize but again you can have fun with it. Here is the complete 411 below on the event
MAFIA WARS ICE SEASONS
The cold front is here to stay. Ice players from the fight list each week to earn reputation badges and cool rewards. The fun starts every Tuesday at 11AM PDT and goes for a whole week.
Summary of what is new:
· Icing reputation badges
Ice players to build your reputation each week. There are five tiers (bronze, silver, gold, ruby, and diamond) that each have five tiers for a total of 25 badges. At the end of each season, your badge ranking will be determined by how many ices you earned for that week. For example, 60 ices would warrant a gold-colored badge with the number 4.
Your icing badge will appear next to your name on the fight list and on your profile page.
· Season rewards
There are 2 types of Season rewards. Mastery Tier items will automatically drop in fights when you ice enough opponents. For example, when you earn 2 ices, 3 booster packs will drop in your fight rewards tray. Hooray for Ice Seasons!
Grand prizes are awarded at the end of the season (every Tuesday at 11AM PDT). You will only receive one grand prize. For example, if you finish with 170 ices for the season, you will receive the gold-tier grand prize.
Seasons start each Tuesday at 11AM PST/PDT. At the start of each season, you start fresh with zero ices. However, your overall ice count will remain the same.
· Mastery Tiers
There are 5 mastery tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby, and Diamond. Each mastery tier contains fight loot items that you receive when you ice enough players.
· Icing players
You can find players to ice from the fight list. Attack your opponent until his or her health reaches below 20 to claim an ice
Mind your bullying, or else frequent ices against a specific target will be melted so that they won’t count towards the Season!
