A No Holds Barred Approach.

PAC Gets 2 Wins For The Players !!!

The PAC ( Players Advisory Committee ) has gained 2 victories for the players based upon what you the players asked for.

The First One is the loot in Italy will become giftable. Yes you heard me, Italy loot will become giftable very soon according to Super Moderator Cerulean Master. They will be squeezing this in with some other game updates in the next few weeks.

This has be a major issue that alot of the players, as well as PAC members, have been begging Zynga for and now it is set to become a reality.

The next thing is the Mini Energy Packs that we all love to hate. Well it seems Zynga has heard our cries, even though they haven’t rolled it out to everyone yet, the ones who have is wanted to be able to post requests for energy on our walls so our Really Active Mafia can just click on it like when we post up help for a job. It seems to be rolling out slowly for everyone. ABOUT TIME.

This is big because now it leaves us all those requests we need for other things like missions and other event they have going on.

While these are just a couple of small victories, they are victories for you the player and should make playing the game a little better. We still have a long way to go and PAC will not let up and will continue to fight for all of the players in the game.

PAC is here for you and we always want your feedback so feel free to contact us anytime and we will bring your suggestions back to the rest of PAC but also to Zynga.

PSST…. by the way according to the rumor mill over at Zynga they are working on making stamina packs for the players. So now you will have Energy pack and Hopefully Stamina Packs if all goes well. SSHHHH don’t tell any one we told you.

  1. I agree. The game has become more about collecting gifts toward one or two items rather than the jobs. The Jobs are, quite frankly, a delight to work on and it gives fair chance to everyone to score some loot evenly…unlike in the case of collecting(begging mostly) stuff which depends on numbers

  3. I have a suggestion for Mafia Wars. I belong to a group called [SMART], and the creator of the group, plus my husband, has decided that they are not going to play anymore because the game has become all about “gifting” rather than game playing, and even though I am a lower level player, I have a tendency to agree. When I first started playing, the game was about doing “jobs” to collect things you need and “operations” to collect loot. Now we have to collect “gifts” in order to get the things we need. I think the mini-missions you have are great for boosting your level and collecting more loot, but I feel that instead of gifting new things every week to collect loot, you should either add more cities, or add higher levels to the current cities to keep the game going for the higher level players. I can maybe understand your desire to create more interaction among the players, but gifting is very time consuming and most people don’t have the time to sort through hundreds of requests and we usually lose out on most of the benefits. For example, who wants to spend hours upon hours sorting through requests just to gain a special “prize” that can be won through jobs or robbing at our own pace, or better yet a special mini-mission with no time limit. Also, what is the point of the new mini-pack energy refills? Previously we got a whole refill plus just doing nothing but waiting. Now we have to ask for them. It’s just another takeaway to me, and another game request which we have to spam our mafia to get! (I see this problem may be corrected) With the limit on the requests anyway, when do we have the requests left for the secret drops or the boosts or 2x mastery drops to send to our mafia? I suggest maybe doing a survey among all game players to see if there are any other players besides myself and the people that signed a Petition which is going through Facebook now and will be submitted on May 2, 2011. I think Mafia Wars should try to think about all of the players to keep the game interesting for them also by adding more tiers to the current cities and adding more cities rather than doing away with the current cities and making everyone accept “gifts” for loot every day.
