>A Special Thanksgiving Message To You All
Hello everyone, well it is that time of year once again, Thanksgiving.
A time where by all Americans gather with family & friends to give thanks for all they have in life.
A time where a lost family member can finally come home again and for one day leave all the troubles & disagreements behind them and just be a family once again.
A time where friends who have no one family left in their lives can come over and for that one special day give thanks because they see they do have a family and they are loved.
A time for us to reflect on all we have to be thankful for and to pray for the less fortunate in the world.
A time to sit back with loved ones and remember all the loved ones in their lives who are no longer with them and how thankful they were to have been part of their lives.
But most importantly it marks the beginning of the holiday season a season of love and hope for all not just us Americans but the world as a whole. A time where we all as human beings open up our hearts for all, we all are a little more tolerant, a little more forgiving, we are more charitable to the less fortunate and we seem to just become better human beings during this time of year and for that I give thanks.
Yes there are some of us who do not do well during this time of year, yes there are some who feel they have nothing to be thankful for and yes there are some of us who feel there is nothing left for them in this great world of ours. To you I say ” I am here for you !!!”
I may not be able to help you financially as I am not wealthy, I may not be able to get you a job if you are unemployed but I can and will bring you into my family circle of friends in life and try to be there for you when you need a friend and shoulder to lean on. I also know I am not the only in this world who feels this way there are millions of us out there all you have to do is open your heart and we will find you. So do not despair we are here for you and for that you can give thanks.
I want to wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving and holiday season on behalf of my family. And I now leave you with this cute little poem I found on the internet it has no author so I cant thank them personally but whoever you are thank you.
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
God Bless you all,
John & Joanne Sweeney
